To make sure it is in its place check the vision if the vision is blurred that means it is on the white of your eye or not at all on the eye. To place the lens in its proper position, inspect it by looking down and then pull the upper lid up and then pull the lower lid down. You must follow the steps to be on the safe side, however the steps are easy to follow .There are different methods to sports contact lens removal. Please have a look at the below given procedures.

The Pinch Method: It's a simple method to remove the sports contact lens, first look up and pull the contact lens down with help of your fingertip, then gently pinch it between the forefinger and the thumb and then remove the contact lens.

The finger and the thumb method: Another method to remove the sports contact lens. Place your hand or a towel below your eye for catching the contact lens. And with the other hand place the thumb on the lower lid and the forefinger on the center of the upper lid. Then press in sharply for a moment of a sec. The contact lens will fall and the job will be done. This method is tested and proven.

Sometimes it may happen that the contact lens might come out but stick to the eyelid or the hands. Use these sports contact lens removal tips as mentioned above. Use any method that your eye care practitioner prescribes. Follow the same method to remove the lens of other eye.

If these methods seem a little difficult or you think you can't do it your self then your eye care practitioner will provide you with some alternate method to do the same. Once you are familiar with the steps the things will be easy for you, only the first time you may face some difficulty in following the steps.
